Here are four great upcoming events located in or near the 43rd legislative district. Hope to see you there!
1) Beautify the Grounds of Roosevelt High School:
An ObamaW orks community improvement project
Join Democrats Work, 43rd LD for Obama, and Obama Works at Roosevelt High School on Saturday, September 6th as part of a national day of service. We'll show our community spirit by getting our hands dirty to improve our neighborhood!
Volunteers will help with mulching, weeding, and other beautification projects around the school. We'll be out there from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Come when you can!

2) Democratic National Convention Viewing Party!
Hosted by the 43rd District Democrats
Date &Time: Thursday, August 28th. 5:30pm onwards.
Location: Spitfire bar in Belltown (back room)

Where will you be to see Barack Obama accept the Democratic Presidential Nomination on August 28th? Join the 43rd District Democrats for a viewing party at the back room of Spitfire bar in Belltown to celebrate this historic event! Come mingle with local Democratic supporters, learn more about the work of the 43rd District Democrats, and help raise funds to support our "get out the vote" efforts that will make sure we keep Washington blue for Obama and elect Democrats down the ticket!
We will have snacks, a cash bar, and multiple large screen TVs for your Democratic National Convention viewing pleasure. Suggested donation is $10-$15 at the door. This event is 21+.

3) Out for Obama Happy Hours
