Events Going on at the Obama Campaign this Week

It was great to meet many of you last week at different places all
over the city. We've got a lot of exciting ways for you to join us in
the effort to elect Barack Obama to the presidency! These events
provide a place where we can all get to know our fellow Obama
supporters better while working together to change the way this
country is run.

Here are the events that your Organizing Fellows are planning this
week:

*1. **Thursday Night Phone Banking Fun!*

When: Thursday, June 26, 2008, 5:30-8:30 PM

Where: 1310 Mercer Street

We will be manning the phones for a few hours getting important work
done for the campaign. This is the perfect chance to meet the staff
and fellow volunteers who will be working with you through the summer
and into November to elect Barack Obama. Also, if anyone can use their
cell phone to make calls its an alternative way to donate something to
the campaign instead of money. It also allows us to be more
productive, since phone banking works best with more people! Please
RSVP so we can make sure we have phone lines available for everybody.

*2. **Unite for Change House Parties *

When: Saturday June 28, 2008

Where: Your neighborhood

These parties are an excellent way to get to know your neighbors who
are fellow Obama supporters, Clinton supporters and Republicans
leaning towards Obama. We will be talking about why we're interested
in Barack Obama and kicking off the rest of the summer's work to get
him into office all while having a great time! Contact Rebecca at
rebecca.b...@gmail.com so that we can get you to a house party
in your neighborhood.

*3. **Pride Parade Phenomenon: Voter Registration *

When: Sunday, June 29, 2008, 10:00 AM

Where: meet on the NE corner of Westlake Park (between Pike and Pine
on 4th Avenue), look for big "Register to Vote" signs

Together we will be getting out there, hitting the pavement, cheering
on the 43rd LD marchers and registering as many voters as we can. All
while enjoying the Pride Parade and festival! This is a huge event
and we want to be able to talk to as many people as possible about
voting and electing Barack Obama in November; so we need you out there
working with us.

We look forward to seeing you all again this week at one or all of
these events!
