Greetings,

This coming Tuesday, July 15, at 7:30, we'll be presenting the next event in the ObamaSalons series, "Leaving Iraq, Moving Forward." Featuring Obama delegates and Iraq War veterans speaking about the war and their experiences, the discussion will be moderated by ObamaSalons director Nick Sesnak, followed by a Q&A. Joshua Farris and Justin Ledgerwood will shed light on Barack Obama's position on the Iraq war and share their own perspectives as a U.S. military personnel who have served in Iraq.

ObamaSalons are a series of moderated discussions intended to highlight Senator Obama's policy positions on such important issues as the Constitution, foreign policy and the environment. Sponsored by the grassroots organization 43rd Legislative District for Obama, these monthly salon-style events feature local community members with a unique view into some of the Senator's policy positions. Located at Capitol Hill's Richard Hugo House, ObamaSalons take place on the third Tuesday of each month through October. Drinks and light snacks will be available for sale by way of Hugo House.
