Hello everyone,

I hope you all got a chance to see Obama's speech last night - it was an amazing speech, even for him!  Now it's time to get involved as we ramp up our voter registration and Get Out the Vote efforts to ensure that he is elected in November.

1) Weekend of Action: National Campaign Events

Voter Registration on Saturday:
Let's carry the momentum from our historic Democratic National Convention through to November by getting out and registering our neighbors to vote! Saturday, across Washington State (and around the country!), Democrats will be out in our neighborhoods, parks and festivals registering hundreds of new voters, come and join the fun! Canvassing on Sunday Afternoon:
Sunday afternoon, across Washington State, Democrats will be out in our neighborhoods knocking on doors and talking about changing our country, come and join the fun! Phone Banking Sunday Evening:
Sunday evening, across Washington State, Democrats will be calling our neighbors and talking about changing our country, come and join the fun! We will be phone banking from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm and meeting at Bergman Legal Law office. Please call Mika Kurose Rothman at (206) 390-3718 for more information.

2) 60 Days to Change: Fall Campaign Kick-off Party

Please join fellow 43rd LD Obama Supporters at The Baltic Room to kick-off the Fall Campaign season in style. The doors will open at 8pm just for us. Stop by have a few cocktails, the bar will open early too. Learn how you can help elect Barack Obama our next President and meet fellow supporters. Sept 4 marks the countdown for change - we only have 60 days until the election and your support is essential. This has been a historic journey to the White House. It is all ages until 10pm, but under 21 will have to leave at 10pm. (Rules of the club.) 

Let's make sure we have something BIG to celebrate on November 4, 2008!!!!!
