Obama party + greening the 43rd for Obama

Hi everyone,

Two fantastic events are coming up this week that we know you want to
know about--a Baltic Room kickoff party to celebrate that it's only
*two more months* before we elect Barack Obama as our next president,
and a chance to get your hands dirty to help beautify the grounds of
Roosevelt High School. Hope to see you at both of these!


What: Fall Campaign Kick-off Party
When: Thu, Sept 4 at 8:00 p.m.
Where: The Baltic Room

Please join fellow 43rd LD Obama Supporters at The Baltic Room to kick-
off the Fall Campaign season in style. The doors will open at 8pm just
for us. Stop by have a few cocktails, the bar will open early too.
Learn how you can help elect Barack Obama our next President and meet
fellow supporters. Sept 4 marks the countdown for change - we only
have 60 days until the election and your support is essential. This
has been a historic journey to the White House. It is all ages until
10pm, but under 21 will have to leave at 10pm. (Rules of the club.)

Let's make sure we have something BIG to celebrate on November 4,
2008!!!!!

What: ObamaWorks: Beautify the grounds of Roosevelt High School
When: This Saturday, Sept 6 at 9:00 a.m.
Where: 1410 NE 66th St

Join Democrats Work, 43rd LD for Obama, and Obama Works at Roosevelt
High School on Saturday, September 6th as part of a national day of
service. Volunteers will help with mulching, weeding, and other
beautification projects around the school. We'll be out there from
9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. If you've wanted to help with the campaign,
but knocking on doors or making calls isn't your thing, this is a
great chance to show the community spirit that the Obama campaign
embodies. Come when you can!
