Just popping my head in for a minute to let you good folks know that
the new version of the D*I*Y Planner Hipster PDA Edition is released:

http://www.diyplanner.com/templates/official/hpda

It's been nearly a year in development, and has over a hundred
printable templates for the compulsive tinkerers among us, including
calendars, GTD-based forms, foldable covers, creative tools, a GTD
reference card, and a tonne of other stuff. As usual, it's completely
free, released under the terms of a Creative Commons license.

Sorry if I'm sounding a little dragged out. Three nights without sleep
prepping this, and I'm ready to drop.

Hope you enjoy, my friends.

all my best,
dj

DJ,

First, thanks for all that you do.

Secondly, will we see an A4/Letter edition soon?

Well, regarding an A4/letter, I'm not handling that personally -- I
have my hands full with Classic, A5, Hipster PDA and the Widget Kit. We
have, however, had a number of well-intentioned volunteers try their
hand at it. Unfortunately, most tend to run out of steam or time. (To
be fair, it is a mammoth undertaking.)

That being said, the next project on the block is the full Widget Kit
release (currently in alpha). This is an annotated collection of
graphical widgets in OOo Draw templates that can be used to mix and
match and create one's own D*I*Y Planner look-alike forms. Quite a
number of people have been using the kit to create their own forms for
submission to our templates directory, and I think it's fair to say
that the letter/A4 forms will really start to build soon after its
release. This is just conjecture, of course, but I'm hopeful.
