This is the pencil you all want as it has I think 2mm lead with a built
in pencil sharpener in the silver metal cap. Have been using this
pencil for over 29 years. I use a 2H lead so no loss of data a of yet.

Just my .02 worth

gotta second that one - I've been using the Staedtler Mars Technico
pretty much my whole life (though not the same one, people tend to
steal it *@&**£). Personally I don't like the built in sharpener so
much (even though it's great on-the-go), but you can get a seperate
sharpener that works super well (and is super cute to boot). If you do
a lot of drawing/sketching/draughting etc, this pencil is unbeatable.

What is the sharpener you prefer, then?

I just dug out one of my old lead holders - same model - had to laugh
at myself. I never realized the cap was a lead pointer.

Does anyone know of a source on line for the pencil?
