Hey, can you guys do me a favor and take this one offline?

Not to cut the conversation short, but as long as you keep responding
to this spam thread it stays alive -- and given that I can, do, and
have manually deleted each email as they arrive this won't make a lot
of sense to folks reading here on the web site.

When the occasional spam arrives on the list, I beg you not to respond
to it (or to respond to the responses to the responses), because it
just keeps making new work for me and won't make a lick of sense to
people visiting the site. I encourage you to continue the conversation
on your own -- just please don't post to the public list.

(And there's no need to respond to this, obviously. :) )
