Hi all,

Saw this interesting macosxhint today and thought I'd share:

>From the story:
>So you need the Finder for the project files, and the outliner as a conceptional layer.

I suppose something like this could be useful for @projectname lists?

Sounds like a good idea. But I feel an OmniOutliner document with the
various related files included, or a VoodooPad page with the files
dragged in (and thus linked) might be more convenient.

Could you post a screenshot with the folder tree expanded so the visual
learners in the audience can get a better idea of how you're doing
this?

thanks,
B.

Anyone interested in thinking about using the Finder as an outliner
should definitely look at Spotmeta, since it will allow you to add any
type of metadata that you want to the files. Kind of like spotlight
comments and tagbag, but you can add typed data like dates and boolean,
etc.
