I am on week 6 of 500mg test E weekly. Doing 250 mg 2x a week. I have been only injecting into my glute. I have been using a 23g 1 inch needle, is it long enough to reach the muscle and be fully effective. I read somewhere online that if it doesn't reach the muscle it's absorbed into the bloodstream and can cause heart attack or stroke.
no freaking pharmacy has 1. 5' needles around here! all i have is 22 gauge 1 inch. im doing 1cc of deca npp and 1cc of test prop every shot. i only have 1 more 1. 5 inch needles and the rest are 1''. will it be ok? i got a small ass if that says anything @ 11% bf. please help
A 25-gauge 1 needle is commonly used for testosterone cypionate injections. Make sure the air bubbles in your lungs are completely devoid of testosterone. An intramuscular injection will be performed into the buttocks or glute. When testing testosterone, the length is important because testosterone enters the muscle where it needs to be injected.
An 18G 1. 5 inch needle (in pink) for drawing (not necessary can draw with 23G too, but 18G makes drawing easier) If you're lean or shredded, 25G 1 inch needle will be fine (this is the orange needle) For everyone else, the blue 23G 1. 5 inch is best. A 1ml Syringe; Alcohol swaps/pads for cleaning the injection site before and after the injection
In your glutes you could go . 5 of an inch and still be good. SQ has to be done at a low angle also (45 degrees or lower otherwise you go past the dermal layer into the muscle). When i give a patiend a SQ shot, i pinch the skin and go in at a 20 degree angle so as to avoid the muscle, so you going at 90 degrees in a glute with a 1 inch are .
Some say that a 1" needle isn't long enough to get deep into the muscle tissue and that some of medication will be poorly absorbed because of this. Others say that there is no issue using a 1" needle if you're a reasonably thin guy. Thoughts on this? I only have 1" 25G needles and have been directed to inject into my glutes.
I was thinking how fat does your ass have to be for 5/8 of an inch not to make it into the muscle. I probably would'nt shoot 2-3ml in that shallow but for a simple TRT shot. Yep, the average subcutaneous thickness in male glutes is 11-14mm. Females would need a longer needle as the average is 24mm.
No. . i hit there with half inch and no problem, i also did with 1 inch needle and 0 probem.
#1 I have some laying around from TRT. 25 gauge 1 inch. Will those work ok? thanks theestone Registered Joined Sep 1, 2012 Messages 2,905 Reaction score 235 Aug 31, 2014 #2 If pin somewhere else. Many places to pin with the 1". But it will work, it will be in your body.
Here's an example: A 22 G 1/2 needle has a gauge of 22 and a length of half an inch. Needle Gauge If you need to inject yourself with a small amount of medication, it will usually be less painful to use a thin, high-gauge needle rather than a wider, lower-gauge needle.
Feb 24, 2016 #1 I got these tiny 25g x 1" needles and I'm wondering if these are even long enough to get a good deep intramuscular injection on the glutes, or should I buy the longer ones, would there be trouble injecting steroids into a fat pocket with a short needle ? sickening skittles New member Feb 24, 2016 #2 depends on how fat you are
Locations How to give an intramuscular injection Tips Complications Takeaway An intramuscular injection delivers medication into a muscle. Doctors frequently use intramuscular injections to.
Aug 1, 2010. In a small person with little padding for an IM injection I'd opt for a 1 inch needle (elderly, child). In those with extra padding, I'd go for 1 1/2 inch. If there is more tissue, you have to make sure you get through it into the muscle, so a bigger person will need a longer needle. In the deltoid muscle I think that 1 inch is .
Jul 18, 2017 E EEC73 Member Member Jul 18, 2017 #1 I have 25 gauge 1" needles. (I saw the video Dylan) First time injecting, testosterone enanthate only. Want to go with the glutes. I'm pretty lean. If I go straight in, instead of an angle, will the 1 inches suffice to get the gear in? Flanex Active member Member Jul 18, 2017 #2
Member. Nov 24, 2015. #1. My pharmacist only had 1 inch long needles for my syringes is this okay for a glute shot or should I go bicep where the skin is thinner. What I hear is shooting into the fat will cause abscesses.

Glutes: 1-1. 5 inch (For one's first purchase, unless you are exceptionally lean, it's best to stay with 1. 5" needles for Glutes to make sure you inject deep enough into the muscle. ) Ventro Glutes: 1 inch Delts: 1 inch (some individuals can get away with ½ inch)
Beyond_Beyond June 12, 2020, 11:24pm 5. If your body fat is good 1" deep is fine. If you are a little heavy, 1&1/2" would be better to get deep into the glute. I usually use 23g, but 25 is fine too. I find medical professionals want to use 18g, to inject into the glutes. I don't even use an 18g to draw from a vial.
Needles used for these injections generally are 1 to 3 inches long and 19- to 25-gauge in size. A complication that may be associated with these injections is nerve trauma arising from needle contact with a nerve. Such complications can be minimized by the use of shorter, higher-gauge (smaller-bore) needles.
The typical needle used for a glute injection is a 1. 5 inch 23-25G needle. For the other injections sites, like the deltoid and the quad, you may need a slightly shorter needle, as there is typically less tissue to get through to reach the muscle. The typical typical needle used for a deltoid and quad injection is a 1 inch 25G needle.
People aged 19 and upNeedle lengths between 1 and 1. 5 inches (25 and 38 mm) are recommended for intramuscular injection in most adolescents and adults. How much can you inject into glute? Using the vastus lateralis or the Gluteus medius is appropriate for a volume of 1. 5 cc, while using the Gluteus medius is required for a volume of 2 cc.
I've found that the 1mL, half-inch, 28g, works the best for me. 29g half-inch works fine too if you do the half ML pins, but takes too long and too much pressure on the 1mL slin pins at 29g, so that's how I landed at 28g 1mL 1/2inch, which works perfectly. I rotate rear delts, side delts, chest, lats, triceps, outer biceps, glutes, and quads.
Pretty much always use a 1" 25 gauge for glutes and ventroglute, sometimes a 1. 5" just to mix it up as far as depth/hitting a different part of the muscle. I really can't imagine most guys on here NOT reaching the muscle with a 1". I'll even use a 5/8" at times.
