Dedicated to the memory of the Godfather of Soul with DJ Knomad and DJ Kinetic playing a selection of music created and inspired by the genius of James Brown.

After James Brown died on Christmas Day last year, just days after our first party, 432 Thursdays decided that our next event had to be dedicated to a man who's impact on our lives carries on in the music he made.

The majority of the music that you'll hear at our party on February 22 will be related to James Brown. It might be something that he performed, wrote, or produced, a song by one the many artists he unleashed onto the world, a cover, or something that samples any of the above. Just a few examples of artists you'll hear are Bobby Byrd, The JBs, Lyn Collins, Marva Whitney, Boogie Down Productions, Public Enemy, Eric B. and Rakim, EPMD and many many more.....

You remember our last jam: drink specials, good people, and even sicker beats.......so bring your non-perishable food items to help the city where James Brown made his home as we come together to remember the one and only Godfather of Soul..

Featuring $4 mixed drinks, $3 domestic beers, $2 shots all night
