Hello All,

Everyone is most welcome to attend the opening of the next exhibition
- 'Limelight' by Victoria Lucas at 42 New Briggate Gallery this
Thursday 21st February.

In addition to Victoria's installation Bryony Pritchard will be custom-
making outfits and accessories out of paper to be appreciated and/or
worn by gallery attendees.

Please join us for fun and refreshments from 6 til 8pm.

Part of the installation will be permanently visible through the
gallery's window for the duration of the exhibition.

Closing Event Saturday 22nd March 5-8pm

42 New Briggate Gallery delves behind the scenes of the Grand theatre
to enable artists to respond to the wealth of material in Opera
North's archive. The upcoming exhibition, featuring artist Victoria
Lucas, will offer the audience a rare opportunity to take a closer
look at costumes used in the past few years' Opera seasons. The
installation will include an array of short films integrated into the
display which animate the outfits.

The exhibition will be complemented by a series of live events and
site specific responses held in the back space including a performance
by Bryony Pritchard, drawings by Nichola Pemberton and a sound piece
by Mick Flower.
