4X     - Originally  scheduled  during the  IOTA Contest [425DXN 1574],  the
         4X100AI  operation from the  Akhziv Islands (AS-100)  has had to be
         postponed due to  bad weather conditions.  The team now  expects to
         operate SSB, CW, FT8 and on QO100 on  7 August (5-15 UTC).  QSL via
         4X6ZM;  the log will be uploaded to  LoTW, Club Log and eQSL.  [TNX

CN     - Taking part  in the  annual  Throne Day's celebrations,  members of
         the  Association Royale des Radioamateurs du Maroc (ARRAM)  will be
         using the special prefix CN22 between 28 July and 8 August.  Throne
         Day is a public holiday in Morocco  that commemorates the enthrone-
         ment of the incumbent monarch.  Since 1999,  it has been celebrated
         on 30 July.
CN     - Bruno, IW5BBV will be active as CN2BBV while touring Morocco on  5-
         30 August. He will operate SSB mainly on 40 and 20 metres.  QSL via
         home call.
DL     - Members of DARC's Ortsverband Greifswald (DL0HGW) will be active as
         DL70GREIF from 1 August to 31 December.  The special callsign marks
         the 70th anniversary of the "Greif", a brigantine owned by the town
         of Greifswald and used as a training ship for maritime youth educa-
         tion. All QSOs  will be confirmed automatically via the bureau. See

E5_sc  - Bruce, ZL1AAO will be active holiday style as E51AAO from the South
         Cook Islands: first from Atiu (OC-083) on 6-9 August, and then from
         Rarotonga (OC-013) until 19 August.  He will operate SSB on  40 and
         20 metres. QSL via home call and LoTW.
ES     - Look for Sergei, ES1LL/0 and  Andrei, ES4AW/0 to be active from the
         islands  of  Muhu, Saaremaa and Hiiumaa  (all counts for IOTA group
         EU-034) on 5-8 August.
F      - For the 69th year the Association des Radioamateurs  de  la  Sarthe
         (F6KFI) will operate a special event station for the  24  Hours  of
         Le Mans.  Look for TM24H on 8-22 August,  with activity  on various
         bands and modes (SSB, CW, RTTY, PSK, FT8). QSL via F6KFI.
HC     - Members of the Ecuador DX Club will be active as HD1O on 7-8 August
         to commemorate  Ecuador's  "First Cry for Independence"  from Spain
         (10 August 1809). QSL via LOTW. A certificate will be available for

OY     - Michael, DF8AN will be active as  OY/DF8AN  from the  Faroe Islands
         (EU-018) from  31 July to 8 August.  He will operate CW and digital
         modes. QSL via DF8AN, direct or bureau; he does not use LoTW.
TK     - Frans, DJ0TP will be active as  TK/DJ0TP from  Corsica (EU-014) be-
         tween 6 August and 14 September. QSL via LoTW, or via the bureau to

UA     - Mikhail, RA1ALA will be active as  RA1ALA/p  from  Volostrov Island
         (RRA RR-02-49, claimed to count for IOTA group EU-162) from 31 July
         to 7 August. He will operate SSB and FT8. QSL direct to RA1ALA.
UA     - Special callsigns  R20RTA, R20RTM, R20RTP, R20RTRN and R20RTT  will
         be active on 1-31 August to celebrate the  20th anniversary  of the
         Russian Television and  Radio Broadcasting Network (RTRN),  created
         on 13 August 2001. QSL via operator's instructions.
UA     - Special callsigns  R1961GT and UE60GT  will be active on 2-8 August
         to commemorate  the 60th anniversary  of Gherman S. Titov's  flight
         aboard Vostok 2 (6-7 August 1961). QSL via operator's instructions.
         Titov was  the second human  to orbit  the Earth,  but the first to
         orbit multiple times,  the first to pilot a spaceship  and to spend
         more than a day in space.

FT8DMC ANNIVERSARY ---> Several special event callsigns  are expected  to be
activated on 2-15 August to celebrate the 4th anniversary of the FT8 Digital

VK5AVB ---> Grant, VK5GR reports that  Tony, VK5AVB is a new operator who is
a permanent resident on Kangaroo Island (OC-139). He currently holds a Foun-
dation Lincence with limited privileges on 80, 40, 14 and 10m; Grant says he
is "extremely keen"  and  believes Tony will upgrade soon.  In the meanwhile
Grant is "in the process of explaining IOTA to him".

WW DIGI DX CONTEST ---> The third edition of the  World Wide Digi DX Contest
("WW Digi") will take place on  28-29 August  (from 12:00 UTC to 11:59 UTC).
The objective is for amateurs around the world to contact as many other ama-
teurs in  as many Maidenhead Grid Fields (used for multipliers on each band)
and  Grid Squares (used in the exchange  and  for determining QSO points) as
possible using  the  FT4 and FT8 modes on  160, 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10m.  See
https://ww-digi.com/  for complete  information.  WW Digi is a collaboration
between the World Wide Radio Operators Foundation (WWROF)  and  the Slovenia
Contest Club (SCC).
