EQUATORIAL GUINEA ---> Last week, the  Government of Equatorial Guinea  tem-
porarily suspended all  amateur radio licenses.  This decision  follows  the
revelation of a case involving  a foreign amateur radio operator  who gained
access to sensitive areas with unauthorized equipment.  The authorities  are
committed to establishing a new regulatory framework  that guarantees effec-
tive control  over the use  of telecommunications frequencies and equipment,
in accordance with national security requirements.  The information  was re-
ported on 10 September by AhoraEG (https://ahoraeg.com/).

JW0B ---> "After weighing up all pros and cons", Nick, F5FRM  has decided to
cancel his 24-28 September operation from Svalbard [425DXN 1791].
