Attention: Cadets attending Upcoming Biv

Those Cadets that were issue webbing that wasn't assembled here are
the instructions to put it together.

1. Start with the belt and the place the pieces in order from the left
to right,
Which are Ammo Pouch, Canteen Pouch, Bum Bag, Canteen Pouch (if you
have 2, and 2nd Ammo Pouch.
Wearing it, Ammo pouches are in line with your thighs, canteens are in
line with hips and bum bag is on your back.

2. On each piece of equipment have pins that clip over the belt. Clip
them by sliding the pin up to clip over belt, in order above and are
right way up.

3. The harness the thick strap is over your chest and thin is on your
back. The thick strap is attached to the ammo pouches and thin straps
are connected to the bum bag (or Canteen).

4. If you don't have adjusters on the straps just tie a secure knot in
the loops on ammo and bum bags to correct length.

5. Make sure the webbing is sitting on your waist not half way down
your legs!!!!!!!!!!

6. Any loose straps or dangling pieces just roll them up and put tap
around them so they are not in the way.

Have a go at that and if you have any further question or doubts call
on 9583 2280 or reply with questions.

See you Friday or not have great time on Biv, enjoy it, ask questions
and you will learn a lot!!!!!

Cheers,

Further to LCDT Heverin's instructions - a good way to tell (once
you've finished assembly) if everything is tight enough and in the
right position is to put it on and start jumping up and down. If
theres any excessive rattling, or things hanging loose, you'll soon
know where.

Final reminder to make sure those ammo pouches are on the outside of
the thighs - nothing more painful than having to go to ground quickly
and finding yourself lying on the ammo pouches!
