New issue 353 by robert...@gmail.com: Change the self-timer value
https://code.google.com/p/400plus/issues/detail?id=353

Congratulations everybody for this so useful project.

I wonder if will it possible to change the value of the seconds of the
self-timer. It's always 10 seconds. I would like to choose between 0 and 10
seconds, for example.

I take photos with a cable remote shutter. I always use AEB. Choosing the
self-timer option, pressing once the shutter the camera take 3 photos. But
I have to wait 10 seconds. I would like wait 0 seconds.

(I opened a new theme in 400plus google group, but I think here it's the
correct place ).

Thanks,
Roberto Sanz

[I just approved your message to the discussion group; we had to implement

As far as I know, the duration of the self-timer is not configurable, even
using internal routines; I am afraid that we just do not know how to do
that. However, remember that you can enable the MLU option on the camera,
and then the self-timer is reduced to 3 seconds; perhaps that is an
acceptable solution.

Ok.

The MLU option doesn't work for me. I need with a single shoot the camera
take 3 photos. Using cable remote shutter and AEB the camera works that
way. With MLU option activated it doesn't.

Thanks anyway.
Best regards.

You can also use the EAEB script; you lose the option of using a cable, but
you can configure a delay, and let the camera stabilize. Unless someone
figures out how to configure the self-timer delay, I think these are your
only options.

Yes, I tried that and works fine. But I need shooting with cable because
the shootings are controlled by another device.
With the IR remote controller works perfect, with a single shot the camera
takes 3 photos without delay.
So I'm working in an IR controller attached to the camera and controled
with cable.

Thanks.
