Hi Jason,

Most of my ICT indicators are covered in one item. This is a Mini
Beast/Invertebrate Rich Task. Still, some of the indicators seem to
not fit anywhere. I am just trying to work out how to tie in "I use
ICT to communicate with others" because a few of my communications fit
into the mini beast item/unit but many don’t. Also the Prof Value
about PD almost seem to be a stand-alone as does "I can store,
organise and retrieve digital resources." Could there be a general
item named something like “Planning for Teaching?” Or could I just do
my emails about the Mini Beast item and then tag on other not
connected emails on the end?

Seems important that we get the items right because that is what
everything hangs on.

Regards Jolene.

HHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPP .......... anyone!

How on earth do you hyperlink everything so it works properly? Websites are great, word is fine...PowerPoint - not ok. And the bulk of my stuff is on PowerPoint because I used it for the StarBoard.

Jolene,
You have three items for the reason it is difficult for one to include
everything. I suggest you look at what remaining criteria you need to
address and create an item that addresses these,
Regards
Jason

Hi guys,
I'm really sorry to be annoying…but now I'm even more confused than
before! I though that our 3 selected items had to address ALL of the
criteria for each?

For example: The item must meet all the criteria in Professional
knowledge, practices, values and relationships? Item 2 & 3 must meet
the same…etc.
I thought this was impossible but I some how have made it work. Is
this what we were required to do? Just to clarify!
I am sitting next to Andrea and we are both now wondering if what we
are doing is too much? Are we on the wrong track?

Jessica,
while it is useful if your items cover all of the criteria, this gives you three opportunities to show evidence that you have met the criteria, it is not mandated. The key aspect is that all of the criteria are addressed by the three items, not that each item has to address all criteria.

"For your portfolio, you will select three items that collectively demonstrate all indicators of the ICT Certificate."

Jason

Thanks Jason. After talking to some of the ICT folk today also, I now
have a totally clear understanding.
