Hi Jason,

If I am linking everything in each of my items to the actual evidence
such as unit plans, photo's, work samples, etc then obviously I would
not have to do it all over again for the evidence section. It makes
sense to talk about something under an item heading and then show
evidence for it immediately connected to it rather than off in some
other remote place which would leave you wondering which one it links
to. This would mean that my evidence section would simply contain my
teachers statement of support.

Just making sure this is fine with you as it seems to be a lineal and
practical approach to me.

Regards Jolene.

Jolene,
it is usual to integrate your evidence throughout section 2 to help explain items, section 3 however highlights the 'evidence' of what you have said is actually the case, clean of context, and relates more to verification of your portfolio items rather than explaining them. This might include unit plans, photographs, lesson outlines, screen captures and audio or video files. The focus of section 3 is on proof, on section 2 it is on explanation. I know there is some redundancy here but the two sections have a very different purposes and cannot be effectively combined. Do not worry if some material is repeated,
regards
Jason

Jolene, I have done the exact same thing as you! I have made sure that
after explaining my uses of ICT in the classroom, I added ALL of the
resources related to that particular point. I was actually just loging
on to ask the same question.
Jason, so is it okay throughout the evidence page just to put in
pretty much all of the same evidence you would have seen without my
portfolio just with no explanation, unless it is a new item then maybe
include a breif statement about it?
