Hi Jason and class

Maybe more of a 'think aloud', but I'm thinking that on my home page I
should mention that I had to move classes after first week of prac,
and then that second week involved a lot of NAPLAN. I'm thinking I
should include this as my range of lessons and evidence is not as
large as it would have been? I know that you're aware of my
circumstances, but just in case it is also marked by someone from EQ?

Thanks!
Jasmin

Jasmin,
you can describe such things under 'Student Context', it will not help you though with external review as they are in the real world, not university, there is no special consideration - your portfolio either demonstrates at the certificate level or it does not. I don't think students in this course will have problems with this though, I have set the standard fairly high and while I appreciate the problems you have faced and that you are concerned, the certificate standard is not that high. As for the standard to gain a high grade in the course, that is another matter and the context statement can assist you there, particularly if you show where you have used ICT to overcome these difficulties... what nobody will want to see if a whole lot of excuses, far better to show the solutions you found to challenges,
regards
Jason
