What are your thoughts regarding the taste preference activity?
Compare it to the Perception Walk. How are they similar? How are
they different?

The taste preference activity was, in my opinion, was very suspenseful, i was really afraid to eat half of the time and i had to use my instincts. The walk is more frighting though because you literally dont know where you are going and you had to really trust someone else to guide you while the taste activity you were on your own.

I thought the taste test was a good way to surprise your taste buds. It made me question if i wanted to eat it or not and i was cautious when eating  the samples. it was the same as the blinded folded walking test in a way because since my perception was gone i was cautious to walk, similar as me being cautious to eat the samples. But it was also different beacuse the taste test was for the perception of your taste buds and walking blind folded tested your awareness of your surroundings.

It was fun, and it wasn't as scary as the walk, because I trusted that you wouldn't give me nothing to nasty or spicy, and I pretty much knew what everything was, besides the first one, but the Mike told me after it was a oaster cracker, then I was like "ohhh yahhhh!" They were similar because you are a little nervous, because you're blind folded and don't know what is going on around you or what will  happen or what you are eating. There different because I believe the food tasting was not so nerve racking, because I trusted you more than I did Mike. Mike had me run into a wall, and after that trusting him was pretty hard.

My thoughts about the taste preference activity were that it was fun but i was also a little worried about what i was about to eat. I thought the perception walk was scarier because you were moving and you second guessed your self a lot more than the taste preference. they were similar because you do not see what you are doing or eating.

The taste preference activity was fun , it wasn't what I expected. I was nervous because I did not know what I was putting in my mouth and I did not know what kind of food it was. It could have been spicy, sour, sweet or just bland. It was like the perception walk because I was was kind of disabled I had to rely on my other senses. I also had to trust the person who was giving me the food or walking me around. They where different because I was sitting and I was in my comfort zone because I was not moving.

The taste preference activity was very fun. One of the things that were interesting about the activity and threw my senses off was when Mr.Scheel would tell us something was sweet and we would bite into something sour. With the activity we had to learn to trust Mr.Scheel with the things he was giving us to eat.

I think the taste preference activity is similar to the perception walk because in the preference activity we had to trust Mr.Scheel and in the perception walk you had to trust your partner that was guiding you.

I think the taste preference activity is different from the perception walk because with the taste preference you dont have to worry about getting hurt or being guided wrong.

I thought it was fun, and intersting. The taste test compared to the perception walk, i think they were about the same. The only diffrence i think are the perception walk i was a bit more scared, because i didnt know where I was going, and i thoght that i knew my surrondings better. The taste test most of the time I knew what I was eating, I sometimes got thrown off but I knew what it was after a minute. They were both cool tho.

I think it was fun, but I was scared. It was similiar to the perception walk because I was scared to eat what I was given, and on the walk I was scared I was going to run into something. They're different because I at least had an idea of where I was going on the walk, and when I was given food, I had no idea what I was being given.

The taste preference was an interesting activity. I had mixed emotions abou the whole activity.I really didnt know what to expect.the mind psychology scheel was using on us was very mind boggling. He knew just what to say to trick our minds out. With that being said there were many surprises in our reactions that we didn't expect to occur. This activity related to the blind fold experiment because most were uneasy about it.we were all a little afraid of what was going into our mouths at the time.

My thoughts regarding the taste preference activity are that it was fun because the element of suprise was always there. it was suspenseful but the walk was definitely more frightening because of the fact that you were blindfolded and had to depend and trust someone to help you.

I didnt trust what i was seeing and doing with the blindfold on.Overall, it was a very fun activity and i would do it again.

I had a lot of fun during the taste preference activity. I was skeptical about eating the food. I was a little nervous. I was relieved when I did eat it. The food activity made me more nervous than the walk because I had someone guiding me. During the food activity I didn't want to trust Mr. Scheel's prompts.

The taste preference activity was very interesting. I was excited yet nervous each time we were told to blind fold ourselves again and again. After eating each item, it was weird not looking at it so i began using my other senses such as the sense to smell to determine what it was as well as the sense to hear. I tried to hear how it moved when i shook the cup. That told me if the food was a large item or not. It was actually pretty fun!
Compared to the Perception Walk, both were similar when it involved being unable to use one of our senses. Both involved trying something new as well as trusting someone, whether it had to do with trusting them not to let you walk into anything in the Perception Walk or eating something poisonous in the Taste Preference Activity. While both these activities had similarities, they both had differences also. The Perception Walk was performed while standing up and moving/ feeling. The Preference Activity did not, however. The Preference Activity was executed by tasting the item while being seated.
All in all, I have learned what it is like to feel being impaired without a sense. It was really fun and I hope to do more of these activities as the school year unfolds.

I actually enjoyed both activities very much, and they had many similariitiies. The were similar in the fact that they both used the element of surprise. The taste perception actiivity how ever offered more surprises and variety.

I thought this was a really fun activity to do. It was intertaining to me when i was expecting something and it was a totally different thing that i ate. It was similar to the walk because I wasnt sure exactally what to expect and although i thought i might know i really didnt. the difference was that i knew that i couldnt get hurt in the taste activity and while walking i could have hurt myself

The perception walk was a greater test of the mind and body and one's dependence on others than the food perception test was.  During the walk, I felt as though I was dependent on every part of my body.  It showed me that we take the ability to see and perceive where things are for granted.  However both activities were similar due to the fact that I was able to somewhat grow comfortable in my situation once i could once more see.  I felt tired and alert after being blindfolded.

My thoughts regarding the taste preference activity were not what i thought they would turn out to be. when we first started I was nervous and I didnt know what i was recieveing in the cup. Sometimes we would be tricked about about what was in our cup and when I ate it I was very suprised. It resembled the walk in many ways. I was nervous in both and wasnt expecting what i got out of it.

My thoughts regarding the taste preference activity was it was fun.
The perception walk and taste preference activity was similar by for
both we needed to be blindfolded. They were different by you didn't
need to use your taste for the perception walk.
