The Id is the only component of personality that is present from birth
& is driven by the pleasure principle.
The Ego is responsible for dealing with reality & develops from the
id .
The Superego is the aspect of personality that holds all of our
internalized moral standards and ideals that we acquire from both
parents and society .

Psychoanalytic Theory - it is a very comprehensive theory;explains the
nature of human
development and all aspects of mental functioning

Id- The id comprises the unorganized part of the personality structure
that contains the basic drives.

Ego-seeks to please the id’s drive in realistic ways that will benefit
in the long term rather than bringing grief

Superego- Freud developed his concept of the super-ego from an earlier
combination of the ego ideal and the "special psychical agency which
performs the task of seeing that narcissistic satisfaction from the
ego ideal is ensured...what we call our 'conscience'

Psychoanalytic Theory describes the human body and it is a theory and role of unconscious mental activity. It explains the unawareness behavior and emotions. Being this way, could also lead to having bad personality traits and difficulty with communicting and relating with others; or even self-esteem problems.
Sigmund Freuds theory is personality is composed in three different elements, id, ego, and superego; and they all work together to create the complex behaviors. Id, is the behavior thats been present sence birth. Ego is the elemental personality trait that in Freuds opinion is develops through Id. Ego basically finds a object thats fits the minds mental image in the real world. Superego is the condition that is the sence from whats right and whats wrong. superego is personal prefrance and what he or she believes is correct.

Also give a detailed explanation of the Id, Ego and Superego.

Strengths-using the assessment gives you insight into how a group of free thinking individuals becomes unified. studying the various mood swings gives a co-relation between mind state and body language.

weakness-psychoanalysis will never be exact sciences.

Id,ego and super-ego are the three parts of the psychic apparatus defined in Sigmund frauds structural model of the psyche they are the three theoretical constructs in terms of whose activity and interaction mental life is described. According to this model of the psyche, the id is the set of uncoordinated instinctual trends; the ego is the organized, realistic part; and the super-ego plays the critical and moralizing role.
