Please watch the 3 videos titled What would you do? @ www.scheelblog.blogspot.com.
Respond to the prejudice and discrimination you see. Do understand in
Arizona it is legal for a person of hispanic origin to be stopped and
asked for citizenship or legal immigrant status identification or be
arrested.

people need to worry about their own personal lives and not others. so what if a white women dates or marries a black man. people can date or do whatever they want. for the video about people of hispanic origin, i believe that it should be illegal to stop them and ask for their citizenship. it is not fair to judge people by what they look like.

In the first video i would have done the same thing, the lady did. She did not back down. I don't care if it was 1$ i would have argued him down because it was my money. The second video was just unbelievable. People have inter-racial relationships everyday. There are so many races and cultures all over the world. Why be pessimistic and limited to stay within yours. Reguardless you should be able to be with whom you want. And besides its 2k12 who's doing that anymore. The third video,i understand that it may be legal to do what the security guard was doing but he was being stereotypical towards the mexican that didn't have the professional look, and that was wrong.

I would just like to say that "What would you do" is a great television show that shows real life experiences and the true actions of people these days. While watching these videos I was appalled and would have reacted like the bystanders in the situations. Even while knowing the whole thing was all an act I was getting frustrated and mad.

Video 1 was about the man stealing the tip from a waiter. Who does that? I would have acted like that lady did and kept causing a scene.  Just knowing that those tips is what the waiters go off of mostly for income and for the guy to steal it, I would have been upset. I think I would also put a bigger tip out of my pocket because I would just feel bad.

Video 2 was about the interracial couple situations. The actors did a great job making the situation feel real. I was getting worked up myself :P I don't think its a big deal for interracial couples to occur. I mean if they both like each other who is anyone to voice their opinion on one's relationship? Someone in an interracial relationship is usually taking a risk depending on the environment that they are in, however they shouldn't let that factor the reasons why NOT to be in a relationship with someone. The color of the skin does not make the relationship, the people do!!

Video 3 was about a cop stopping this Hispanic family i believe and asked them for their identification cards. That is UNACCEPTABLE! I can't believe it is legal to do such a thing in Arizona. That is racial profiling and it isn't right!

I like this show Because it shows what people would do in different types of situations & its good to see that these people reacted the way that they did because not many people would. The 1st video was the best, not just because of the situation, but because the lady had the balls to stand up, be honest, & not let herself get frightened by the man who had stolen the money.

The other two videos were just ridiculous. I admire the way that they voiced their opinions & stood up 4 the interracial couples.

In Arizona it should be illegal for a person of hispanic origin to be
stopped and asked for citizenship or legal immigrant status
identification or be arrested. People should be able to be in a
relationship with whoever they want, and people should be able to be
waiters or waitresses without having to worry about their tips getting
taken.

First Video: In this video, the man steals someones tip off hte table.
I personally agree with everyone that told the waiter that the man
stoll the money; I wouldve done the same thing. It's unbelieveable
that someone would actually take money out in the open and actually
think that nobody would say anything.

Second Video: I honestly dont understand why someone would actually go
out there way to talk to someone about why they shouldnt be in a
relationship. I didnt think race was even a bog issue to people.
Someone needs a reality check. I think the lady that was in the
relationship responded correctly and she remained calm and that's
exactly what i would do.

Third Video: That's really stereotypical and i dont understand why
thats even legal.

In all of the videos there is discrimination. In the video about the
Hispanic family going into a restaurant, it shows that people really
don't pay attention to the laws and rules that they agree to in the
places where they live. In the video about the interracial couple, you
can see how people are really changing and evolving because before
that type of couple would be forbidden but no people actually defend
the couples right to be together. There is a lot of discrimination in
the videos, but there are a lot of people who won't put up with it.

These videos very explicitly outlays the societal stigma of racism. It went to show that racism is still alive and well in America. It exists also the desire for others to stop and eradicate the very idea. The way in which the patrons of both the bar, and restaurant defended the victims of racist bigots, showed that there is yet living advocates for equal rights among Americans.

The videos were highly entertaining as well as thought provoking.  People should not be criticized and agitated by others because of their spouse regardless of the individuals' race.  The video about the guy stealing tips shows that it is important to do what is right all the time.  If you see someone doing wrong, discreetly alert someone in authority.  and lastly, the video on the Hispanics was the most intriguing of them all.  up to this point i felt that minorities were already "sought and searched"  automatically and so the request for legality of citizenship seemed typical to me.  However, now i realize that all people should be treated equally and not prejudged because of their race.

the videos have a lot of prejudice in them. I think it is unnessary for anyone to be like that. I think that we all should get to know someone before we make a judgement about them. More people need to stand up for other people when they are pubicially getting judged like the people in the videos stood up for the people who were being judged.
