Explanation of theory:
1. People can learn through observation. 2. Mental states are important to learning. 3. Learning doesn't necessarily lead to a change in behavior.

Where is social learning seen most often?:
Probably school.

How is this theory important to Psychology?:
Because it's how people behave when they're learning.

           Social Psychology looks at a wide range of social topics like group behavior, social perception, leadership, nonverbal behavior, conformity, aggression and prejudice.Some famous Social Psychologists include:Daryl Bem, who is responsible for the Self - Perception theory, Robert Cialdini, who researched influence processes, Peter Burke, who created the Identity Control Theory, and Albert Bandura, who was responsible for the Social Learning Theory.
           The Social Learning Theory states that social learning occurred through four main stages of imitation: close contact, imitation of superiors, understanding of concepts, and role model behavior. Social Leaning is seen most often in real life. You can see Social learning the most in children. This theory is Important to Psychology because it helps us understand why people act the way they do. It helps us understand learned behaviors.

Alfred Adler, Carl Rogers, Abraham Maslow and Karen Horney.

Albert Bandura is responsible for the Social Learning Theory. The
initial phase of Bandura's research analyzed the foundations of human
learning and the propensity of children and adults to imitate behavior
observed in others. In 1961 Bandura conducted a controversial
experiment known as the Bobo doll experiment, to study patterns of
behavior by social learning theory, and that similar behaviors were
learned by individuals shaping their own behavior after the actions of
models.

Social Learning Theory- First is the idea that people can learn
through observation. Next is the idea that internal mental states are
an essential part of this process. Finally, this theory recognizes
that just because something has been learned, it does not mean that it
will result in a change in behavior.

It was most often seen in Psychology classes.

Because it's how people behave when they're learning

Strengths; one of the great strengths of slt is that it combines several important models of learning. Its cleasr that children are motivated to imitate a behavior if that behavior is seen as a good thing.
Weaknesses; it doesn't stress the childs actual cognitive development. While there are some cognitive insights in slt
