Looking at a person who was once famous and now falling into a "deep whole", one might say that they wouldn't feel at all bad for Lindsay Lohan. However, it is not always fair to judge without knowing both sides of every situation.
Yes, Lindsay Lohan was a star, although she was a childhood star. Lindsay could never say that she was a strawberry or a tree in an elementary play, kissed her 1st crush in middle school, had a real group of friends in high school, or might not ever go to college. We could. She was never given a real childhood. Yes, it may have been cool to be famous, but can you imagine every part of your life in a magazine or on the internet all broken down into short articles for the world to read. I can surely say that I'm glad to have my privacy as well as a life without it being under a microscope.
Not only was this an issue, but Lindsay also had it hard at home. You surely wouldn't give her mom and dad the perfect parents award. With a brutal divorce, a dad whose alcoholic and a mom that is very passive, one could indeed get away with many things. When things are all said and done, Lindsay Lohan is just a person. Everyone makes mistakes. Lindsay just happens to make one right after another.
In psychology, you are forced to think out of the box and take yourself out of the picture while asking questions like why is the person acting this way, what has influenced their actions, and things of that nature. This may be true, but we can't always make excuses for these people. In my opinion, yes Lindsay has had it rough, but there are people in the world that go through stuff much harder than Lindsay and have became better people of today's society!
