I'm using SU7. When I go to File>3D Warehouse>Share Model.., a window
opens that says:
"Welcome back, <my real name is here>. Before using 3D Warehouse, we
need to know a little more about you. Please enter the additional
information below. "

The only thing that is below this sentence is: "Nickname: phxphun" and
a button that says "Continue". I click this button and the same
window just re-opens. All I can do is click "Continue"... same
window every time. arg!

At the top left, the window says I am signed-in to my Google Account.
I have cleared browser cache and turned off all pop-up blockers. No
change.

Does anyone know how to get beyond this Continue button?

Hi Gaieus,

I've added Google SketchUp to my Windows Firewall exceptions list, but
the problem is the same. I'm using Windows XP Pro. Any ideas?

Thanks for your help.

I also tried turning the Firewall completely off. I still can't get
past the 'Continue' screen.

Sorry for your trouble logging in. I haven't been able to replicate
this problem. I did see a similar issue when I logged with a newly
created user account-- I had to go directly to the 3D Warehouse in a
browser to login and create a nickname before I could continue in
SketchUp (I will file this as a bug).

So I don't know if this will fix the problem you are having, but
please try the following:

1. Open a browser, go directly to the 3D Warehouse and sign-in:
http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse

2. You may be asked to fill out some additional information.

3. Once you are successfully logged-in directly to the 3D Warehouse,
go back to SketchUp and try to share your model again.

Please let us know if this fixes your problem.

Best regards,
Lori

Hi Lori,

As you suggested:

I made sure I was logged-out of 3D Warehouse and then closed all
running programs and browser windows.

I opened an IE browser and went directly to the link you provided and
logged-in to the Warehouse successfully.

I opened SketchUp and went to File>3D Warehouse>Share Model. The
window that immediately opened showed me as already being Signed In.
In the box that says "Get started with 3D Warehouse" I clicked on the
Continue button. The same window just reloads.

I then tried the same process using Chrome. Same result.

I appreciate any help you can offer.

For what it is worth, I have exactly the same problem, I have been
around every loop and cannot sign in, I am stuck in the same loop.

I have this problem too.

The warehouse window opens and has an internet explorer error message
in it.

I can upload models if I export them first as 3D models, then use 3D
warehouse
URL to get the upload page in my browser (Firefox).

It's actually pretty crappy (as an aside) that Sketchup Instructor
opens
Internet Explorer instead of using my default browser :S Grrr.

I also cannot upload models at all. Yesterday it was working just
fine.

Now IE6 is just constantly refreshing and then eventually displays a
404 message when trying to upload a model.

I cannot even sign in from the IE6 browser that google sketchup opens.
The sign-in link (in the main browser screen that is displayed when
clicking "get models") WHEN IT WORKS (clicking usually does nothing)
redirects me to:
skp:signIn@http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/

I see allot of people with problems anyone solve them yet?
I may have the same problem.
When I try to share a model or componet. I'm directed to sign in with my gmail account. I do so and am directed to the a page that says ``Sketch Up is requesting prermission to: View and manage your Google 3D Warehosue. Know who you are on google``. I click allow access. Then an errer message appears ``Sign-in Error before using 3d Warehouse service, you must choose a nickname.`` The only option is to hit ``Okay``. Then nothing happens. I`m back to my model

If I log in through explorer it`ll take me to the warehouse. I appear logged in with my Gmail account. My real name appears in the top right corner (I do use a alias for most of my sketch up models) When I go to see my models anon appears as the creator. Up until the most recent update nimic appeared.
I`ve gone through every menu and submenu i can find I can`t find anyway to upload from sketch up or change my nick name. Exported models do work but i have to export first then upload in explorer. I build things in peices of componets often in different projects so the ablility to upload is extremely improtant to me.
I`m running sketchup 8.0.11725 in free mode
windows 7 latest updates on explorer. i have slower internet but uploading componets hasnt been a problem in the past.
