How do I texture a part of a building that cannot be seen. It is covered by another building. Both sides of the building actually.

Hi Julian, sometimes you can use the photo texture from a similar building that does have visible facades. If you have access to an image editor such as Photoshop, you can also clean up the photo textures to make them look exactly like the real thing.

Another method is to sample a small area of any current texture and use Make Unique Texture which can then be used to Tile/Texture the hard-to-see faces.
This VIDEO shows an example of how to do that.

If the wall can't bee seen, get rid of the wall.

Thanks SnowTiger. Won't the building be incomplete without the wall Randy?

Yes Julian, if you do not include the walls, the model will be marked as incomplete, so you DO want to include them. Texture those walls as SnowTiger has suggested, or using my suggestion.

Cheers,

Yes, it would be incomplete. But how will anyone know if, as you say, the walls can't be seen?
