Hi Kipfer Fox,

as I just recently told in another thread, Ocean Liners will not be
accepted to Google Earth since they are no "permanent structures",
that is, they have no fixed position. Only museum ships located
permanently in one harbour will be accepted.

I understand your hesitation, Randall.

If you can somehow proof it is always located there, such as by
pictures or because it is there on the satellite images, I believe you
have good changes the boat being accepted. Maybe, though, you have to
go through the appeal process.

Hi Randall, since the boat is a permanent structure, or stationed at that location permanently, it would fall under the same guidelines as museum vehicles and would be accepted.

If you have any problems, use the Appeals process and include a pictures, web info, or wikipedia articles state your case.

Cheers,

will permanently docked casino boats also be included? i ask because of this model linked below... i did it before the new rules went into effect and would like to go back and make some tweaks and improvements. but i don't want to clean it up only to see it be rejected under the new rules! although the boat is operational, it doesn't leave the dock because the casino is open 24 hours.
