Hi I am looking to model a building on an island but the current GE terrain data has the island as see level and not raised roughly the 40 foot up it really is. If I build the building now it won't sit right compared to the surrounding area. I know it is possible to import contour lines to build up terrain but I want to know are there any publicly available sources which may be more acurate? It's for a place in the UK if that makes a difference,
Thank you
Andy

Why not use SketchUp's "Sandbox Tools" and model that terrain yourself ?
The overall size/area of the island and the accuracy of detail you need, will determine the time necessary to model it as well as the resulting file size.
