Invalid API Key Error

Recently, we have removed all API key codes from our sites as they are no longer required.  However, ,many of our sites (3dhawaii.com, 3dlasvegas.com, sanfrancisco.3dhawaii.com, 3dkaanapali,com, etc.) frequently given an API error -- either something that says  invalid api key error or the API Key issued to this site belongs to another site.    Is there a known solution for this and has anyone else been experiencing it?

I see this error as well from time to time. The only related support issue for this is 579, but it doesn't look like there is enough information in that thread to identify the cause.

Some feedback on this would be great. The error message that is generated is negative and makes users think there could be a security error with the page.

I have some sites running with the key in place... I simply left the code as it was. Can't you do the same?

HI All, 

I haven't really received the  information I was looking for on this post regarding API Key errors we sometimes see in the plug-in such as "Invalid API Key error" or " The API issued belongs to another site" even though we are no longer using API keys.   Is there a known solution for this and has anyone else been experiencing  these issues?
