There is a 3D Model of "Centre 1110" by Mike Post almost in the centre
of the hole.
Here is the URL for that model (might help find location).

I cannot zoom in too close to this Anomaly and hit "R" without GE
zooming out to about 7800ft Eye Level.
It also somewhat depends on what angle and elevation you are viewing
GE from, whether or not I see this anomaly.
I wish I could upload an image/screen shot of this problem but if no
one else sees this and/or Google Staff requires an image, I could
email it to you.
PS> IF No One Else can see this anomaly, I would also like to hear
about that (since I also often see anomalies above the horizon and
have since the previous release of GE ... I am presently using the
most current release).
I don't see this problem. Any chance you could attach a picture of
what you're
seeing?
Thanks much,
mark

I don't see that hole, either but I have experienced this before at a
different location. I found out that it occured only when I was using
my 3D conexxion/Logitech Space Navigator 3D mouse. It looks like the
software of the device was causing it. Check if it's gone after
removing the peripherals from your system. Deleting the GE cache might
also help.
Happy holidays to everyone,

Just the same, if I don't resolve it, I would like to be able to
attach a view or two BUT now I have no idea how to do that ??
And we don't have a Files section here any more do we ?
You can either capture a screenshot using your favorite screen capture
program, or save an image from Google Earth (File->Save->Save Image).
Post the image to picasa or flickr or something similar, and then post
a link here.
