Okay, somebody just said "what's a Spaceball". To over simplify, the
Spaceball is a ball mounted to a platform (which has various buttons of
it's own) and is a device used for pan, zoom, rotate, etc functions and
is used with CAD programs. By simply pushing, pulling and twisting the
ball with one hand, you can enjoy spinning, twirling and zooming your
model in 3D space. Most handy and quick for reaching under or through
a model while you work. Imagine "flying" in Google Earth with it. I
use one at work and I find my hand "looking" for the Spaceball as I
model at home in Sketchup. They are too expensive to buy and "try" but
if I knew it would work, I would forgo the expense as they really are
enjoyable to use.
Thanks in advance! Wow.
