OnSiteIQ is an emerging startup providing automated site documentation and safety analytics to the construction industry. Our mission is to enhance productivity and safety on construction sites by assisting construction managers and safety consultants. Our company so far has been supported by NSF and Jacob's Institute at Cornell Tech and we are working from Google's building in Chelsea area in Manhattan NY.
3D Computer Vision Graduate Intern
Job Description
You will be developing computer vision algorithms in C++ based on construction video feeds in an emerging cutting edge Startup Company. This is a high-influence, high-responsivity position within an early-stage startup and your work will directly impact the future generation of the company. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience working at a startup and being part of a dynamic product rollout and launch. If you are an ambitious, independent self-starter, this position will be a great fit for you.
Job Requirements
You will be developing computer vision algorithms in C++ based on construction video feeds in an emerging cutting edge Startup Company. This is a high-influence, high-responsivity position within an early-stage startup and your work will directly impact the future generation of the company. Qualifications for this job are as follows:
Must be currently enrolled in an MS or Ph.D. program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or other related/equivalent engineering program
BS degree in an ABET accredited Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or other related/equivalent engineering program
2+ years of experience in computer vision
2+ years of software development experience
Proficiency in Python/C++
Proficiency in Windows/Linux
Experience with OpenCV and Eigen
Experience with SFM, SLAM, DBoW, FABMAP, G2O
