Hey everyone,
My name is David Newlands, manager of Poultney, VT's Blu Bin store.
If you are wondering Blu-Bin is, it is the first retail 3D print shop in America. We opened our doors on September 29th, giving people the ability to transform their ideas into reality without spending a small fortune to purchase a 3D printer. As a start up company, we are always looking for more talent, which is why I have come here, looking for free lance designers to help create products. While we already have a staff of designers, we believe in the saying "the more, the merrier!". We are currently equipped with a Makerbot Replicator, and plan on purchasing more printers that expand and improve our printing capabilities.
So, with that being said, I was hoping to find designers, whether they are new enthusiasts or seasoned designers. My name is David Newlands, a store manager at Blu-Bin, Inc.
Blu-Bin is America's first retail 3D print shop. Where other 3D printing companies want customers to buy a 3D printer in order to have access to your designs, Blu-Bin has customers walking in off the street and buying the designs you've made and we've 3D printed.
Our model is simple:
1) Customers walk into our store and ask for something to be printed.
2) We consult our library of designs and if we have what they want, we make it right there in front of them. If we don't have it we send the job to a list of designers that we work with so that someone can design the print.
3) The customer walks out our doors with your creativity made real.
What we're offering you is a way to directly benefit from every bit of your creativity. It's free to register with us to be offered jobs and you can register unlimited numbers of your own designs with our catalog. We believe this business model is the future of products, and we want you to be a part of it.
We accept all skill levels, so don't be shy to get in touch with us.
