I'm also getting this error message on 18 different computers.  my students were able to change the dimensions while creating squirter tops for 2 liter bottles last week and now if we change the dimensions we keep getting the error message.

Could you let me know a link to one of the sketches your students are trying so that I can reproduce and debug this problem myself?

their dimensions just started working about 25 minutes ago.  Now we are able to design with a .1 accuracy.  Don't know what changed but now I need to bet my first class back for a redesign.
