depends on what your talking about.
a 2d pictures does infact not look 3d. excebt if its drawn in 3d. but
what you see in real life useing your eyes does look 3d.

I was fooled, too, until I tilted the monitor _way_ over to one side.
When I looked at what was posted virtually edge-on, I could swear for
a moment it was really in 3d. It could have been the light, the 3
teas, _or_ the original poster may have found a way to transmit 3d
into newsgroups.
Bravo for even trying such a risky maneuver, and kudos for pulling it
off!
