I think so!

One of our forum members here did a great movie (here:
http://www.indietaivas.fi/movie.php?videoid=909) in 3ds and After
Effects, and doesn't think he is good enough to get exposure in a more
formal forum.

What do you think? I'm sure he'd appreciate your feedback.

The fundamentals of the story are told well. The shot are appropriate,
and communicate the story. Its strong enough that the art of it can be
over looked. There is nothing offensive to the eye about the artwork
its just not strong. The story is the most important element, its why
people are watching.

The best thing to improve would be to continue to produce more work,
and frequently. Push yourself with each project and the artwork will
improve. This is a great start.

But the question was whether his work, this one in particular, is
contest-worthy. I think you're answer is "Yes".

Perhaps the act of contest submissions would be a good way to follow
your advice, then?

Great job, Harri!

Has anyone else got any work to share? I have all the Adobe products,
including After Effects, but I don't know how to stitch together
animations, music, etc.
