Motivation: Why do you want to participate and what skills would you bring to a team? *	Though I have minimal experience in a startup/entrepreneurial venture, I am interested in learning more on how to enable an idea. Designing a strategy and concept for a startup builds vital business skills which I hope to better understand through this program. I would bring an conscientious, creative and driven mindset to my team at the event. I like to push my team beyond what we think is possible in subtle and meaningful ways. My team would find focus, agility and creativity in our task.
Ideas: Do you have an idea for a startup? If so, tell us about your idea in a few sentences. If you don’t have an idea, name one or two recent startups that you find exciting and why. *	One startup that I am extremely interested and passionate about is Robinhood, a stock trade app. It was launched late last year and provides zero commission stock trade to the entire spectrum of stock traders. I believe it provides value to consumers, saving them money. This app has a clear vision of bringing the financial services/investment banking industry into the 21st century. It created and executed an extraordinary marketing plan, gaining major exposure of the past 6 months. I would like to build something with a strategy similar in strength and vision to this startup.
