Motivation: Why do you want to participate and what skills would you bring to a team? *

I've been involved in my family small restaurant business since I was two years old, and I've grown up in a entrepreneurial environment. When I work in the restaurant, I work for my family, and in that sense, I work for myself. I view every table I clean or customer I help as going towards my family's well-being and my own college tuition, and that's something that's driven me all throughout my life. I would like to someday start my own business, but I need to learn much, much more - something 3DS can help with.

I am a highly dedicated worker who gives my all to any project I truly care about. My work is defined by its craftsmanship and timeliness, and I have an eye for detail which sets me apart. I believe I am an easy person to both work and get along with, and I do not ever confuse the right answer for the easy one.

Ideas: Do you have an idea for a startup? If so, tell us about your idea in a few sentences. If you don’t have an idea, name one or two recent startups that you find exciting and why. *

I have an idea for a fast casual Vietnamese food restaurant. It would capitalize on the rising tide of fast casual restaurants; there is no current ubiquitous Vietnamese place in the United States (unlike say, Chinese cuisine with PF Chang's and Panda Express). Of course, this idea would take immense capital investment, but it is something I am truly passionate about.

Additionally, I find Jawbone to be a fascinating start-up. It's honed in so well on the fitness band market and has really set itself apart through its quality and attention to detail. I see Jawbone as a business that knows the actual problems that its customers face, and it doesn't skimp on quality - because it knows people will see the shortcuts. And lastly, simply put, its products are data-driven, and they can help bring about a meaningful change in people's lives.
