Still possible to apply?

Dear 3DS,

My name is Daniel and I was a participant of 3DS last year and loved it. I was wondering when this year's 3DS would be, but this year there has been no promotion by professors or emails about the event. I ended up googling it today and found that I had missed the deadline by 2 days! Is it possible for me to still apply? If it helps I am a developer and was critical in making web apps and pages for my team last year, thank you for your time.
