MARCH NEWSLETTER
Happy Women’s History Month 💜
This month is a celebration and a reminder that women have always been here. Building. Leading. Innovating. And today, across industries like AI, cybersecurity, data, and beyond, women are not just participating; we’re shaping what comes next.
Last week, we had the opportunity to host a Women’s History Month site visit, where fellows, alumni, partners, and industry leaders came together for a conversation on “Beyond Automation: Preparing Talent to Lead with AI.”
Recent research, including findings from Anthropic, shows that AI is rapidly reshaping the labor market, automating routine tasks while increasing demand for skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively alongside AI systems.
At TKH, we’re not preparing learners to compete against AI; we’re preparing them to work with it, manage it, and apply it responsibly. That means building the skills to question outputs, make informed decisions, and take ownership of outcomes in environments where AI is increasingly embedded.
We’re proud to be part of that journey, and we’re grateful to everyone who continues to build alongside us.
With gratitude,

PARTNERSHIP SPOTLIGHT
🤖 Beyond the Automation: Preparing Talent to Lead With AI
Last week, we brought together fellows, alumni, partners, and industry leaders for a powerful Women’s History Month site visit focused on one question:
What does it take to lead in an AI-driven world?
Through our panel, we explored how the future of work is shifting and why technical skills alone are no longer enough. As AI becomes embedded across industries, the real differentiator is the ability to think critically, ask the right questions, and take ownership of outcomes.
This conversation came to life through our moderator Anna Verdiyan, Chief Growth & Strategy Officer at TKH, and the voices of three incredible speakers:
- Zaria Taylor, current Data Analytics Fellow, who shared her journey into tech and her passion for using data to empower families and close the wealth gap.
- Thalyann Olivo, TKH alumna, who reflected on navigating the industry authentically and building confidence in her voice.
- Alexandria Sauls, Founder of No Ceilings, who spoke on navigating a non-linear career in tech and helping others articulate their impact with confidence.
We were proud to welcome partners, including Hispanic Federation, News Corp, New York Port Authority (NYPA, Citi Foundation, Comcast, Altman Foundation, Intersection, NAACP, The Charles Hayden Foundation, and more, alongside coverage from BronxNet and News 12.

Students build projects, experiment with tools like Python and basic web design, and develop problem-solving skills that help them understand how technology shapes the world around them.
⏳ Deadline: May 15, 2026
Know a student who would be a great fit? Encourage them to apply and take their first step into tech.
