My thoughts...
I am opposed to a tent due to costs. (and logistics!)
I am opposed to shirts due to the costs. (I'd rather eat.)
As for the meals, I'd like to see that happen, and while a locally sourced meal would be awesome (including vegan options) I don't know that it's possible with the current funds.
One thing I will note is that for many (un)conferences the registration asks what your dining restrictions are. We did not... I would assume we have some vegan/vegetarians, but do not know. Cheap pizza and a nearby place to get drinks sounds fine.
Jason G. (treasurer of Milwaukee Makerspace) said we could probably kick in $100, so there's a little more money... but as I said, I'd like to see it go towards food before other things.

So here's the items I'd like to cover tonight (with additional discussion during the weekend if needed):
Possibilities for last minute sponsors and people taking responsibility to contact them. If we're going to provide the five top priority items we discussed (tent, 3 meals, tshirts), we need to pull in sponsors quickly. The first barcamp was put together in six days, but... :)
40' x 40' parking lot tent with roll up or removable sides (if no rain and not windy). Right now we have ~ $400 we could use to rent a tent (assuming ~ $100 of the UIUC/DHMN $500 is needed for misc supplies and 3DPrintingCampWI stickers). Need to find a tent and reserve it if we're going to plan on having one.
I don't think a tent is necessary, we can house 100+ people easily, I don't think we'll have that many simultaneously anyways looking at registrations so far. Let's measure costs in 3D printers, you could almost buy one for the price of an empty tent ;-)
Tshirts - Joe confirm we can still get them made and what date/day artwork and sizes/numbers are needed. What color shirts available? Someone take responsibility for getting graphics to printer and someone take responsibility for setting up way for people to select size and pay. Calling it $10 at this point since Joe said he could do it for no more than that.
These can get made yet but need to be finalized ASAP and paid for up front. How many can we afford to print given that we don't have enough money for food at this point? Adam is a S67 member and can do the printing, he can be contacted directly:
gr...@jabberwockysuperfly.com He doesn't have time to make graphics without being paid for his time, so if we want shirts made we need someone to make the front/rear graphics, if you want a shirt for less than $10 you'll probably only be able to do two colors.
Food. No sponsors for coffee, any of the meals or beer for supper (Ben Heck said he's giving $100 toward beer/pizza, but we need to discuss that, since we don't have any money to buy beer/pizza for 100+ people). At this point we'll just have to send an email to all registered people telling them to bring food/coffee or plan to buy locally, which takes them away from the event. Will also clarify food issue on website.
We could get 20 Little Caesars pizzas for $5/ea down the street, that's about the only way to feed close to 80 people for $100. We've got a drinking fountain for water and soda for $0.50/can with Stop and Go a block down the street for other beverages. I'd recommend raising money from whoever's there for beer in the evening, usually results in more money than needed. I'd love a balanced locally sourced meal with vegan options but it's not going to be possible with the budget. Thoughts?
Brian -- all set for special events? Need any help with last minute stuff for that?
Spread the word (I think...). We appear to have 60+ people registered. If you figure the Dane 101 article and word of mouth brings in 20 more registrations, we'd have 80 people signed up. Based on other unconferences I've been involved with, we'll probably have an equal number of no-show registrants and no-registration last minute walk ons. Figuring we'd only have about 75 percent of the participants around at any one time, that means roughly 60 people in Sector67 at once, which shouldn't be toooo crowded. We could maybe even make do without the tent, but it would be good to have that just to give elbow room and in case it rains or we have a flood of people at the last minute and get 100+ people show up at once. Anyone have contacts on the Milwaukee paper to get something in there for last minute planners?
Stuff other people want to discuss.
Potential problems on July 21?

Let's plan on a G+ hangout at 7 PM CDT tonight -- I'll start the hangout and invite people. If Brian and/or others Madison people want to gather at Sector, just plan on logging in from there if that doesn't cause a bandwidth problem.
Joe -- if you can't +hangout tonight, would you maybe have time for a hangout on Sat evening or Sunday afternoon/evening? If so, what time is good for you.
Thanks,
Bob

The article on
dane101.com just went live a few minutes ago! Its an excellent article, they have a huge local (nerdy!) readership, and its awesome they showed so much interest.

Joe, Brian, Pete, Tim, John, Nathan, Eric, Frankie, Jesse and Jason,
For those of you interested in helping get ready for the July 21 3D printing unconference at Sector67, what is the best day/time for a planning meeting?
We talked about a Friday evening session a while back -- how many of you would be available for tonight at 7 PM?
The plan would be for Madison people to meet at Sector if they're able and those of us not in Madison or not able to get to Sector to instead connect via Google+ hangout.
The meeting purpose is to discuss sponsors and stuff we need to buy or make arrangements for related to the unconference.
If 7 PM isn't good, please suggest a couple different dates/times for this weekend that you'd be able and interested in discussing last minute plans for the unconference next weekend. Also, if you know of others interested in the meeting, please invite them once the date/time is set.
Let me know your interest and availability for a meeting this weekend.
Thanks,
Bob
