Someone has almost certainly done this:
When plating up multiple parts for a multicolor printing run, do current slicers allow you mark some objects as part of the purge block? Some parts I don't care what color they are, others I do. (Not that I have a multicolor printer yet)

That's actually a standard feature in Prusa Slicer, not sure about the other platforms but I suspect they have some version of it in the software as well.
