I got contacted by the CTO a medical application FDM printer startup looking for a 3d printer engineer to help improve & manufacture their printer design. I haven't asked about pay but it sounds like they're looking to hire someone around New York / New Jersey type area. Anyone interested in getting in touch with them? I'll pass on contact info.
