I have a high res photo of this. It is 2100X1500 and weighs in at
1.4Mb. Anyone want it, let me know.

This photo was from the highest deck on an USA Aircraft Carrier (forgot
the name). The plane was only a couple hundred meters of sealevel.
This effect apparently happens when the weather conditions are just
right, and the effect will travel with the plane for as long as the
weather conditions are right.

It wouldn't let me attach it, but I forgot to change the subject.

Anyway this is what I wrote, so that you don't have to go back to it.

PS: I have also reduced the resolution to 1024 and the file is now <200k
if anyone is interested.
