Voodoo 3 3000 - Delta Force 2

Does anyone know if there is a way to run Delta Force 2 smoothly with a
Voodoo 3?

I couldn't get it to work smoothly either. K62-450/128mb/v3 3000

The is primarily voxel-based which cannot be accelerated by 3d cards.
The only thing that a 3d card can handle in the game is the objects and
buildings. The thing is that the V3 can't be used in this case as the
game requires a 32bit card to pull off this trick.

It doesn't run too badly on an Athlon 650, except when you lay down in the
grass, then it stutters like a pig.. everything else runs nice. I wonder if
they'll ever do a patch to remove the voxel grass and make it smooth with
3DFX. I wouldn't mind at all if it was without the grass, it would still be
a cool game.

The real problem with Delta Force 2 and a V3 is that the only 3d
graphics that are hardware accelerated are in 32 bit color. Which we
all should know, the V3's don't do. You have 3 options.
a. stick with the v3 and run DF2 in software mode
b. get a Nvidia, ATI or Matrox board that runs 32 bit
c. wait til June and grab the next gen V5 3dfx cards

message stating my ""height map is incorrect""what the heck is a height map
