When I try to run either the regular or 3Dfx version, it says:

FATAL ERROR: Couldn't open General Settings file

P166 MMX
64 MB RAM
2 MB Diamond Stealth 64

Though I doubt that info is necessary in this case. Any other info needed?

I ran sndsetup and then ran carm3dfx.exe in Windows and got the error then I
restarted in DOS mode and tried to run carm3dfx.exe and it still doesn't
work. Should I resintall the demo and try to run the setup and carm3dfx.exe
in pure DOS? I'll try that and post if it works.

Try copying the file GLIDE2X.OVL from your windows directory into the
carmageddon directory.

This should fix the problem.
