Did he own a 3dfx card?

Did he own alot of 3dfx stock?

Now THIS is out of topic....

Maybe but we all can see what happens to individuals if they don't own 3Dfx

I think he ran out of his fav substances and hung himself in a fit of

Well, I can't say I really liked their music either, but , really, show
some respect to the guy. I'm not sure what forced him to commit suicide
(was it a suicide at all?), and I don't want to know, but there are
millions of people who loved his music and feel pretty bad about that.
And what's his girlfriends looks have to do with it?

Hmmn, i dont know.. i think INXS could quite comfortably present even their
worst songs up against the best of the current line of "chart toppers"
(eg. Spicegirls, Hanson, Prodigy, Oasis etc. etc...) Hmmn, maybe *thats*
why he killed himself:/.. :)

That's really not saying much.

Well there goes any chance of a glide support on their next CD! :)

We hate the spice girls because:
1. They have _no_ talent.
2. They are a creation of a huge record company. (Held try outs for spots in
the group- lame, produced, artificial.)
3. They dress skanky
4. They look skanky.
5. Everything about them is fake.
6. Not only do they not write their own songs, but they prob aren't capable
of stringing more than 3 words together unless they're told to.
7. They are the epitomy of the shallow, narcissistic, and frivolous thinking
that pervades places like Miami.

Ya' know, just the other day, I was thinking about killing MYself when
I found out how lame the Matrox m3D Power VR card I had bought was;
however, being a fairly survival oriented kind of guy, I just sent it
back and ordered a Diamond Monster 3D. Now, I have something to live
for. I should receive it in 2 days, and then I'll have months of
mindless, happy tweaking of my GL Quake settings or until my wife sees
the credit card bill, in which case she may kill me. Really.
True story (well, except for the suicidal depression part; I was more
pissed off than anything).

--She was a "Suicide Blonde" because she "dyed" by her own hands.
Gee, if that's not a telling insight into this tragedy,I don't know
what is. --

trivial thread.

I can't understand why it is always some useless pop singers and movie
actors which get a halo over their head, sometimes they even become
presidents. Tells something about the rotten western culture, I guess.

Well, Ok, John, What music do you like? I don't know, but let's take
Frank Zappa for example. He died, and some smartass says a thing like:"
hey, this guy wasn't worth shit anyways, wrote some weird music I never
really could get into." Imagine, how a guy who loved his stuff will
react.
And there are lot of people who love INXS, and just because you and many
others (including me) don't like his music, doesn't mean we have to say
things like that. Just don't piss on other's grave, and someday yours
will be clean too.

Motive, no motives here. Previous poster just said a something like
:"his music sucked and his girlfriend is ugly". Now, just because my
best friend's grandmother thinks she's an alien from mars, I have to
avoid him whenever I met him on the street?

Well, first of all, this has nothing to do with Voodoo cards, unless he bought
a Rendition, and really regretted his decision. :)

Second, I have no symphathy for anyone stupid enough to take their own life.

I though he committed suicide, which makes it pretty hard for me to
respect him (i.e., a quiter in the biggest game of all).

Maybe so, but you can't tell a thread when to stop, it's got a life of
it's own. <g>

The only known method of killing a thread is to make a nazi analogy.

hmm...okay...

Hitler, an Englishman and an Irishman all walk into a bar...the Englishman
says, "I'll have a pint of lager". The Irishman says, "A pint of Guinness,
mate" and Hitler says, "Hey, at least I never killed a thread"

(While probably in poor taste, it's meant in jest and should be taken as
such...well, actually it's meant to stop this thread and in jest, so it
should be taken as both...is anyone as confused as I am about what I'm
saying??)
