So - for those folks who are new to 3D Printing (like my Doppelgänger) - or Relatively new to this forum (like my good friend Sophie) - you may have missed me posting some years ago about a really BIG Museum exhibition centered around 3D Printing. It was like 4 or 5 floors of work - and it was WILD! I think the museum in NYC was call MAD - Museum of Art & Design - exhibition was in 2014.

There is one 3DP thing that was featured in the exhibition - and for me - it was SO COOL to see one of the 3D Printed parts IN PERSON! Why? Cause, previously - when I was teaching 3D CG at Fashion Inst. of Tech. in NYC - I would show my students this INSANELY Wild Video - of a Dude - who literally DRAGGED a Massive 3D Printing Contraption into the Desert.

This was the video of that contraption in the Desert:   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpunlLk4fgE

And, now - this is the video of my exhibit visit. Sorry in advance that some of the pics are fuzzy...

Wow - thanks for sharing.   I love the video of the exhibit.  Also I guess that's your real voice, I don't know about everyone else, but in my mind you sounded more like batman :-).

At some-point someone is going to try that solar sinter project on the moon.

Yo there Doppelgänger!

I'm so glad you liked the videos!

As for your Main comment - HELL DUDE - I have Been telling people for YEARS NOW - that is EXACTLY The way to Build a MOON Base - Just Freakin' 3D Print the Sucker with the material already on the Moon - and, the Sun is WAY Stronger up there!!!

Downside...

The 3D Printed walls will probably be VERY Radioactive! And - Thus - must be the Lead Coated...

Yea thanks for sharing that Kurt. I liked the functional stuff as I said to you before, I'm not a particularly artsy person, but combining art with something useful, now that I can get on board with!

You're quite welcome Sophie! Again - sorry it's such a BAD Video - some of it TOO Fuzzy - some of it has pics showing for TOO short a period of time. But, yeah - I am NO video editing expert.

FYI - that Dress design was pretty wild - as it did incorporate some exotic mathematical computations.

Also - that WILD looking strange "vehicle" - which was driven/motorized using a Hand Drill - was really Quite wild!

Some of those sculptures were admittedly even TOO WEIRD - even for me!

Anyway - again - glad you liked it!
