Admittedly - I had no idea who is Mr. Smith. So - as search based upon what you wrote (Obit) - turned up this:

I look forward to hear what you have to say about him. If I were to purely Guess - I would say you crossed paths with him in Life - and maybe that's what you guys are going to talk about. But, again - it's just a WAG...

Interesting spin that was put on Timeplast filament.  I was actually expecting a review of the filament itself, guessing that it was never considered.

I think I’m going to buy the fire filament and print firestarters to take on my bike/camp trips. The soap and fire filaments have actually been around a few years.

Wow Andy - you and Whitney really Dumped on the Timplast folks. That being - I can certainly appreciate you guys doing the research into this co. and trying to look past all their Smoke & Mirrors!

I'd really like to try the Fire thing and the Soap one. Maybe I will let Bryan be the guinea pig on those 2 filaments - and learn from him if they are truly viable.

Hearing the thing of like $300 for a spool of filament for making burial urns - that really is rather Nuts!!!

Kurt, I don't know if you could call that research.  I do have a subscription from them and have had a few prints done so far.  These are some of the different types of filament that I have so far.  I do have one other, cinnamon soap.  Photovoltaics are used to 3d print solar panels. The plant Vitamins is nothing more than plant fertilizer.

Ed, how is the fire-gen? Like I said I'd be interested in printing out firestarters to take on my bike camping trips, something light and I could shape it fit in my panniers to not take up too much space.
