Yes, but, consider that Printables ALSO has the same type of programs. Sure you may get more exposure in Makerworld, and if you have a Bamboo printer thats probably the way to go. I have already got a free spool of Prusament. I have earned a second and am about to earn my third from printables. I am waiting a bit before I cash #2 in.
Sadly my friend bought a CoreOne-L but didnt put my referral code on it. Please if you are going to buy a printer check if someone has referral codes for that manufacturer and gets points/miles/fillament/whatever for your purchase (hint if you get one from Prusa check with Andy then me :-) ).
With printables you get points for I think up to ten models by other folks you make in a month. You also get points for the first few models you upload and some other getting started stuff. Also you get points when people download and people like your models BUT there are thresholds to get those and the counters are month by month… I finally got some points for a Barbie bathroom fixture remix I did (I improved the seat a lot) a year or so after I uploaded it.
I do find it sad how many people download models etc without hitting like - its not just the points that matter to creators , some of us just get off on the feedback
